Private Lessons
Private lessons are the ultimate learning experience with fast, fun results! If you feel stuck on a particular skill or want to learn something specific, a private lesson could be just the thing. You and one of our top certified instructors will have a terrific ski or snowboard private lesson experience!
Private lessons are available to all members in our Classic program (ages 10-17) and are offered on regular season trips starting in January. You will be contacted by our Private Lesson Coordinator before the trip to discuss your goals and schedule your meeting time and location.
Cost: $40 for one 1.5 hour lesson (see
pricing for details). This is in addition to the regular weekly trip fee and will be invoiced or billed to your credit card.

Q: How does it work?
1. Submit a reservation form to book your private lesson. You can do this when you RSVP for the event. (Private lessons are not available at all events.)
2. Our private lesson coordinator will contact you before the trip to discuss your goals for the lesson.
3. Come to Blizzard as usual.
4. Go to Cone #1 to meet your private lesson instructor.
5. Enjoy your private lesson!
Q: What is a private lesson? Why book a private?
A: A private lesson is a one-on-one lesson with one of our instructors. While group lessons are a great way to learn and have fun on the hill, sometimes you just want a little extra attention. Whether you feel stuck on a particular skill or you want to learn something specific, a private lesson could be just the thing to get you where you want to be in a hurry.
Q: Can I book a private for my child in the Mite or SuperMite programs?
A: No. The logistics and group dynamics of our all-day programs make it difficult to accommodate private lessons. Private lessons for SuperKyds are offered at 1:00 when they regroup by color level.
Q: What time do private lessons start?
A: Private lessons start at the same time as regular lessons. You will be contact by our private lesson coordinator before the trip to discuss your goals for the lesson and the start time. At the area, come to Cone #1 to meet your instructor.
Q: How long are private lessons?
A: Private lessons are approximately 1.5 hours.
Q: When am I charged?
A: You will be charged after you have your private lesson.
